775 Select
775 Select is a year-round AAU basketball program serving athletes in grades 6th through 10th, with plans to expand into 5th grade. Our program is built to support players at multiple stages of development while providing clear pathways for growth, competition, and advancement.
Tryouts are held before each season to determine team placement and roster selection. Based on tryout evaluations, players may be placed on either a travel team or a developmental team, ensuring athletes are competing at an appropriate level for their current skill set and experience.
Our developmental teams focus on skill development and game experience while competing primarily in local Reno tournaments, with select events in nearby areas such as Sacramento. These teams emphasize fundamentals, confidence, and preparation for future travel-level competition.
Our travel teams compete at a higher level and, depending on age group and skill level, have opportunities to participate in larger tournaments across the West region. These events provide increased competition, exposure, and experience against top programs.
775 Select teams practice three times per week in South Reno and typically compete in four to five tournaments per season, depending on scheduling and team placement. Through consistent training, competitive opportunities, and a strong team culture, 775 Select is committed to developing well-rounded athletes both on and off the court.
