Geoffrey Faries

A Bit About Me

I’m the head coach and owner of 775 Select, a program I started to help young athletes grow both on and off the court. Basketball has always been a huge part of my life, from earning All-League honors in high school to continuing my playing career at the college level at Pierce College.

I’ve been coaching since 2021, and over the past two seasons, I’ve had the chance to coach at the high school level. This year, I took on the role of Varsity Head Coach at Sage Ridge, where I’m focused on building a competitive, disciplined, and culture-driven program.

I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2024 with a degree in Marketing and Business Management, plus a minor in Analytics. Outside of basketball, I work as the Marketing Director for AFC Urgent Care, where I lead community outreach and branding efforts. I also serve on the Board of Directors for both the May Arboretum Society and the Love and Mine Foundation, two organizations that give me the chance to stay involved and give back to the community in meaningful ways.

Through coaching, my goal is to mentor and guide young athletes, helping them gain the tools and confidence they need to succeed on the court and in life.
