775 Select was founded in the summer of 2024 with a simple but ambitious vision: to create a competitive, development-driven basketball program that would open doors for athletes in Northern Nevada. What began with just six players competing as a combined 6th–7th grade team has quickly grown into a multi-team program spanning 6th grade through 10th grade, including multiple teams at certain age levels. As the program continues to evolve, our goal is to expand further by adding younger age groups and additional development teams beneath our top competitive squads.

Over the past year and a half, 775 Select has worked relentlessly to establish itself as a formidable and respected program. Our teams have competed in high-level tournaments across the West Coast, including events in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Oakland, Sacramento, and Thousand Oaks, while also maintaining a strong presence locally in Reno. These experiences have allowed our players to test themselves against elite competition, grow their confidence, and gain valuable exposure.

At the core of 775 Select is a commitment to building more than just basketball players. We pride ourselves on creating a family-oriented culture where relationships, accountability, and shared experiences matter. Our teams bond through end-of-season celebrations, overnight tournament trips, and community service efforts such as volunteering at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. These moments help shape character, strengthen team chemistry, and create lifelong memories for our athletes.

As the program continues to grow, our focus remains on providing meaningful exposure and opportunities for players throughout Northern Nevada. We aim to help athletes extend their basketball journeys while also preparing them for life beyond the game. This past season, our 7th grade team competed on the Adidas 3SSB Junior Circuit, and we are set to join the Under Armour Future Circuit this spring. Additionally, our 9th and 10th grade teams will compete on the Under Armour Grind Circuit during the upcoming spring and summer, alongside select MadeHoops events.

While certain teams continue to gain experience playing high level completion, we remain committed to developing our other teams. By emphasizing fundamentals, team chemistry, and long-term growth, we are steadily building a pipeline that allows every team in the program the opportunity to progress to higher levels of competition.
